We’re Still Here After Your Baby Arrives
Pregnancy gets a lot of attention, but the months and years that follow can be just as challenging. Becoming a parent is a major life change. Having support in place after your baby is born makes a real difference.
Carlisle Area Family Life Center is here for clients beyond pregnancy. Whether you need help finding resources, navigating a difficult situation, or staying connected with people who know your story, our team is glad to continue walking with you.
Ongoing Support and Referrals
Your baby will go through a lot of diapers, and we can help. Every month, we give out over 15,000 diapers and more than 100 cans of formula. We also provide clothing, gently used baby equipment and supplies, toys, and books. Come take what you need.
After birth, your needs shift. We can help connect you with community resources for a range of these needs, including:
- Food banks and nutrition assistance
- Transitional housing programs
- Domestic violence shelters and safety planning
- Medical care and referrals
- Financial assistance programs
If you are facing a situation that goes beyond what we offer directly, we will help you find the right organization or program for your circumstances. No one who comes to us leaves without some form of direction.
Support for Dads
We believe fathers matter in their children’s lives, and we invest in those relationships. Dads are welcome at Carlisle Area Family Life Center.
Whether a father wants to be more involved, needs resources of his own, or is looking for guidance on supporting his family, we are here for him, too.
After a Loss
If you have experienced a miscarriage, our staff can connect you with post-miscarriage resources and support. Grief after pregnancy loss is real, and you deserve to have people around you who take it seriously.
